Claudia Johnson

Claudia joined Maritana Partners in 2023. She started her career in banking at CBA and Citigroup in Australia before moving to London where she transitioned into executive search focussing on investment banking, private equity and fund management.  She was a researcher and consultant at leading boutique search firms.  Claudia returned to Sydney and continued her career in financial services search both in external search and at UBS, where she established the recruiting function for Australia & New Zealand.  Following this, she returned to executive search, focussing on Non-Profit, Government, Energy, Superannuation, Communications. Healthcare and Non-Executive Board positions.

Most recently, she spent six years in the Executive Talent and Succession team at CommBank, focussing on executive talent initiatives across the CBA Group, including succession planning, diversity, leadership assessment, internal talent mobility and external search.

Claudia has a BA from the Australian National University in Psychology, Sociology and English.
