Richard Benjamin

Richard joined Maritana Partners in 2026. He brings over two decades of commercial leadership, corporate strategy, and advisory experience across Australasia, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to Maritana, Richard served as Chief Executive Officer of a successful consumer retail and eCommerce brand and sat on the Executive Group as Group Strategy Director at Urbis.​

Earlier in his career, Richard held senior Strategy, Sales, and Chief Operating Officer roles at Commonwealth Bank across the Business and Institutional divisions. His background also encompasses leadership in high-tech ventures and top-tier management consulting experience with Accenture in London and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Sydney across Strategy and Human Performance disciplines.​

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
